PAL + Ontario Hunter Education Program


Description:  In the province of Ontario, personnel that wish to hunt or obtain an Ontario hunting license are legally required to have passed all components of this course. The goal of the Hunter Education is to ensure that prospective hunters meet acceptable standards of knowledge and skill for safe and ethical participation in hunting recreation.  You will also need to pass the Canadian Firearms Safety Course if you want to use a gun to hunt.

  • Individuals under 16 years old must have a consent form signed by one parent or guardian before attending the Ontario Hunter Education Course
  • Students must present a government issued photo ID when they are checking in for the course
